I have to admit this card didn't turn out quite as great as I had imagined it in my head! It was still very fun to do. Once again I had to hurry to create this card so it wouldn't be late. So...I decided to use A Work In Progress's awesome digital kit called Bad to the Bone. Hurry you can get this kit at a bargain price of $1.00 here until the end of June 2011. The papers and embellishments in Vicki's kit were a perfect match to the Greeting Farm's Wild Sprout: Ebony stamps I wanted to use. I used my Copics to color the image...I just lover the purple tips in her hair! The skull is from Vicki's kit. I just used a versamark maker with some silver embossing powder to outline the image. I filled the center of the image with flocking. The words were done with stamps. I used nesties for the circle and while still in the die I airbrushed the background with a light grey Copic marker. I used my emoticons file and my turning paper into metal for the smiley...I also added metal studs for the eyes. If you would like to purchase the emoticons file click on the words above the preview below.

We are sooo happy it has finally stopped raining! The yard has dried up so that means the kids can play without getting covered in mud! We decided to take advantage of the nice weather this weekend and do something the kids totally enjoy! Watermelon is very yummy but it's even more fun when you get the cookie cutters out and cut shapes out of a watermelon "steak". See what in the world I'm talking about in the photos below!
Cookie cutters are just for cutting cookies..right?! WRONG! Grab some cookie cutters a slab of watermelon and let the juicy, sticky, yummy fun begin!
Okay I've gotta go get Tyler's teacher's gift done! Geez...I'm alway rushing to get stuff done! The last day of school is tomorrow! Aww well maybe I can be early for Father's Day! I can dream can't I! LOL! I'll be back some time this week to share the teacher's gift with you!
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!
