Papertrey Ink Make it Monday #239 Customizing Patterned Paper

This week's Make it Monday Challenge at Papertrey  Ink involves customizing patterned paper.  Lizzie demonstrates just how to do this in a great video.   Check it out here.
I don't have a lot of masculine cards in my stash so I knew I wanted to use this challenge to make a masculine birthday card. I had this Lotus paper pack by Amy Butler.  It has lots of floral prints in it so I pulled out the two masculine prints and went about making my card.  I pulled the blue and green colors from the striped paper to choose my ink.  I stamped little tiny dots from Papertrey Ink's first stamp set called Paper Tray.  I used the bulls-eye and tiny dot stamps to stamp rolls of circles within the paper printed circles.  I added a little distress ink to give some depth to the die cut balloon ad added an string to the balloon to enhance the blues in my card.

Supplies listed and linked below:

Your card is very nicely done. When you say Papertrey's first stamp set, do you mean first ever? What an interesting fact!

Thanks for the great comments! It is my understanding that Papertray is the first stamp set ever produced by Papertrey Ink.
