Papertrey Ink 9th Anniversary Grab and Go Challenge

This challenge involved setting a timer for 5 minutes and grabbing what you need to make your project.  The first thing I thought about is the White Pencil Highlighting technique video Jennifer McGuire posted.   (Thanks Jennifer for the wonderful video!)  It's great for this challenge because minimal suppplies are needed.

I don't have many outline stamps but I've seen soo many neat techniques lately using them so I might just have to invest in a few more sometime.  I did have PTI's year of flowers collection.  It included mini versions of all the various flower stamps sets offered for each month.  So I tried my best to create a arrangement of these small stamps to fill up the corner and bottom of the card.  The details are soo small though that the white pencil shading got lost.  I have to say though I love the dramatic results you can get and can't wait to try this on a larger stamp.  I was also wondering if you could print out some of the popular digital adult coloring pages in a color that could be traced over with the white pencil and then shaded.  I may have to experiment!   If anyone knows a light color you could print on dark cardstock in a regular ink jet printer please let me know.

Your card is just lovely! Love the layout of the flowers, the pretty background color and of course, the lovely white shading.
