40% off at Shelly's Art, wreath, and freebie

Laury Vaden aka Just Laury at Paperthreads and I have teamed up to give you 40% off our entire stores for one day only! Celebrate your freedom to craft! Hurry run over to our stores TODAY. Get there before midnight CST and anything you purchase will be 40% off. You can see Laury's store here and mine here.

Don't go now finish reading my post first as I promise there will be a great reward at the end. However, after you get done with my blog head on over to Laury's as I do believe she has some goodies for you as well.

I'd like to share with you a card I made using Laury amazing file basket weave card and my
flourish photo corners file. I also used some prima flowers and although it's hard to tell in the photo I colored them with atyou spica glitter pens also available at PT. I just love the sparkle these pens give off and the instant dry time is a plus too! As you can see I use rub ons and I hardly ever use them as you can see that too! I goofed and tried to fix it up with a marker..had to do something quick as I had to mail off the card! Dimensional paint added some puffy dots and jewels accented the flower middles. Distress ink turned my vanilla cardstock to what you see below! I just love these inks..they are soo easy to work with!

If you'd like to purchase the flourish I used on the card click the preview below.

My quarterly membership is off to a rocking start. I have 3 files uploaded so far. I'd like to share with you what fellow PT forum member Deb did with my accordion folded flower only available by purchasing my membership club.

Here you can see she hung it on the welcome sign which is hanging on her door! I just love the puppy feet hanging out from underneath the wreath! Tooo cute!

Here is what Deb had to say about how she did her project.

"The base is made from a 12 inch ring cut out of a pizza box. Flowers were cut from DC Studio "Rose Colored Glasses" double sided paper and outlined with a complimentary copic marker color. The Snowflake or stars were cut out of light Pink Bazzill, edges distressed with a light pink chalk ink and the centers touched up with yellow Stickles. Leaves were something I found off the internet, printed, touched up with Copic Marker.

Assembled the flower according to Shelly's instructions and then started placing the finished flowers on the cardboard base, added the leaves and attached a tie to have the finished wreath. Used the ATG Tape Gun which is also sold in the Paperthreads Store"

I actually designed this to go on top of the explosion box which is also included in the membership. You can see it below. I absolutely love how Deb saw past that and created this amazing wreath! I'd love to see it in reds to look like poinsettias.

If you like to make your own wreath or explosion box (3-D tree has also been released) then join my membership today. I promise you won't be disappointed. I plan on offering a variety of files including boxes, cards, embellishments and home decor items. Click on the Ad below to purchase the membership.

Okay as promised here is your reward! I pretty little leaf I hope will come in handy on your Fall and Thanksgiving pages.
