Card A Day March Challenge

I hope you are all enjoying your Sat.  I am just popping in to enter the Card a Day Blog's  March Challenge.

I made this card using my newest file Card Base 10.  The neat thing about this card is that bottom green strip actually has a scallopped edge.  It gets attached to the inside back of the card and peeks out to the front.  This was a fun card to make.  I added the corners from my flourish set file to take up some space allowing me to use a smaller focal point.  I actually pulled out my seldom used stamps to make the heart.  I colored the flowers with Copics and attached tiny gold seed beads for the centers.  A sheer bow finishes the card. The heart stamp is from Stampin' Up and the sentiment stamp is from Papertrey Ink.

If you would like to purchase any of the files I used please click on the previews below.

My creative design team member Johanne also put this file to you to make her own unique card.

Here is what Johanne had to say about her pretty card:

"The lace file is Lace  - KBD30013 from Keepsakes by Design.  The leaves for the flowers are Butterfly in a Round - EC00147 from Accents by Edita and the flowers are Open Me Flower from Just Laury. The beige paper was a scrap piece from K&E company.  The paper for the flowers and the lace border was Jolie Chocolat from SEI.  For a finishing touch I added pearls to simulate the center of the flower and on the ribbon."

I love how Johanne combined 4 different designer's files to complete a great looking card.  I just love the colors too!

It's supper time so I've gotta run!  I hope to work on some organizing tonight or tomorrow so I will have a post for you on Monday.  Hope you'll come back again!  Enjoy your weekend!
