DSO color challenge freebie-transparent sticker action-arrows

I am proud to be a product tester for Mega Doodle Inspired. Her latest product involved a transparent sticker action. I used the puffy sticker action to make this freebie for you. It goes well with my previous freebie kit see the previous post. (click on the photo to download freebie) It is an amazing action that works wonderfully on my PSE 6.O If you like what you see click on the preview of the action below to buy the product at her store. You won't be sorry! Oh and she has other versions of this actions not just for PSE. I loved the colors for the DSO color challenge so I used those for the freebie. Check them out by clicking the link to get many more freebies.

Sat night Scrapbook Cafe's challenge and Free scrapbooking and cardmaking goodies!

Here is what I made for the Sat night Scrapbook cafe challenge. I designed the card file so my Silhouette could cut this pumpkin in black all one piece then I placed patterned paper behind the black outline to color the pumpkin. The face is placed on top of the orange paper. I thought he still looked a little bland so I applied a stickles border the whole way around and in the center of the eyes. I got this bottle of stickles for FREE! Want to know how scroll down!

Look at all that amazing scrapbook and cardmaking supplies. Want to know how I got this great package in the mail for free?! It's easy just sign up for a chance to be the Scrapbook Cafe's Artist of the month. I got this in the mail for being chosen for the August artist. It has some wonderful things. I've only used the stickles so far but I absolutely love them and wish I had more colors. Now to find some time to play with the rest of the stuff. What are you waiting for...go sign up!

Scrapbook Cafe's Sat Night Challenge-school supplies

Here is my contribution for Scrapbook Cafe's Sat night challenge. My son needed to get his Preschool supplies labeled before tomorrow and since I was short on time I decided to make the tags digitally. I'm glad I went this route because he chose to use lots of glitter!

This first one used a template by Jeni at Scrap Matters you can see more info and pick up the template here. It worked great as a tag on my son's folder and a laminated one on his bag.

This one uses a tag from Carrie's Creations playful tags file, rocket from her blast off space ship super pack (AI version imported into PSE). This was used to label his pencil box and construction paper pad. I just love how he is riding in the rocket ship!

credits:
Both tags used a collaboration kit from Kami's blog, Pineapple Plantaion's blog and Scrap Orchard blog called Out of this world I just love this kit and it was perfect for the space theme my son picked out.

Below you can see everything put together.

I got my first award!

Thanks a million Shirley for nominating me! I feel so honored and hope to do more to my blog to make it worth the award!

Here are the rules:

1. Pick 7 of your favorite blogs (that's hard there are tons!)
2. Winners can put the logo on their blog.
3. Link the person who gave your award to your blog.
4. Name the 7 that you are giving the award to with their links.
5. Leave a message on their blogs so that they know they've won!

Below are mine! Although I had a hard time choosing just 7 since I'm a blog viewing addict!

  1. Digifree
  2. Allie Brown's layouts
  3. Southern Breezes
  4. Sam and Hailey Designs
  5. Accents by Eddita
  6. Page maps
  7. lady oak
Okay that is it! I have many more but these are the ones that I frequent quite often!

Time for some inspiration and free files!

I am always making cards for birthday, anniversaries and to say thanks. With two little ones at home I can't be fussing around trying to figure what I want to do to make my cards. I love sketches so I use them all the time for inspiration that still lets me be creative. I am hosting a card sketch challenge on the Paperthreads forum. Just for making a card you win a great prize check it out today!

Above is the example I made from the sketch I used American Crafts ribbon, Creative Memories paper, dew drops, fluid chalk, mechanical label maker, and Prima flowers.

Well not only am I at a loss for cards but sometimes a I need a little something to get me motivated to scrapbook so I decided to host a scrapbook sketch challenge too! You can win an awesome file just for participating. Check it out on the Paperthreads forum today!

Above is an example of what I made using the scrapbook sketch. It is a hyrbrid version since doing the photo collage was so much easier in PSE then it would be by hand. I also used Scrappin Cops wonderful clipboard to show a prayer my nephew had created so we could bless our food. I used fluid chalk, copper Creative Memories pen for stitching and fibers also.
