Colour Q #292

I saw these wonderful colors for the Colour Q challenge and couldn't wait to participate.  The colors are sooo cheerful.  I just knew they would work  fabulous together on a card.

I knew immediately that I wanted to case Melissa Philipps stunning card that can be found here.

I had soo much fun playing with Papertrey Ink's Plaid Builder and Quilted: Summer stamp sets.  It's great being able to make my very own plaid paper to match the colors in my quilt block!  I just know I'll reach for these stamp sets time and time again!

Papertrey Ink May 2015 Sketch Recipes

Hi Everyone!
Spring is here and there is something about Spring that makes me feels refreshed!  The doldrums of Winter leave my body and I'm ready to take on the world!  Well maybe not the world but I do want to get more organized and create more crafty projects!

I love Papertrey Ink and they have such a knack for not only making creative projects but also inspiring others to do so to.  Every month they post color combos along with sketch recipes as a starting spark for our projects.  The sketch recipes are based on a card one of the DT members made each month.  I wanted to store not only the sketch recipes but also a photo of the card the sketch was based on for my records.  So with the help of some awesome ladies on the Papertrey  forum (thanks!)...I was able to put together a document for you including the sketches, example card and link to the post containing the original card photo.

Below is and example of what I have done.

If you like what you see...I have created a document for you to download including all of the sketch recipes from the 2015 release.   It contains two pages.   Click HERE to download.   Please let me know if you like this and if you would like more of these in the future.

Thanks for stopping by!  Please come back again!
