Hello everyone!
I've got many new files in the store just in time for Easter. First up are my build an Easter egg files. These files are so versatile and easy to cut! The eggs cut as overlays that get layered on to a solid egg. Mix and match these files for endless combinations! Click on the previews to see the files in my store.
Check out this great card CDT Kelly did with my build an Easter egg file! I just love all the little details she added...the stitching, embossing, and gem!
Susan also had fun with this file...creating an adorable mobile for her cute grandson!
Check out the wonderful layout CDT member Lisa created using the build an Easter Egg two file. I love how she used the plain egg as a journaling box and the decorative eggs as titles. Scroll down to see more amazing projects from her.
Once again Susan stepped out of the box and created this splendid wall hanging. She used a copper gel pen to outline the eggs. My favorite part though is the liquid applique she used on the flower buds.
Isn't this candy bar wrapper the cutest! This file is perfect to cut and stick inside an Easter basket. It would also be a great treat to give to a teacher, hair dresser, and mail carrier. It is always nice to remember everyone that makes your life special at Easter. All pieces cut separately so you could easily use this on a scrapbook page too. This file could be made into magnets and attached to the front of a card. Attach these to paperclips, add a pen and my Notepad with cover file and you have a wonderful little gift. Click on preview to see the file in my store.
This file is perfect for all the upcoming weddings that happen when the weather starts to warm up. This file is also great for other occasions such as the hearts can be used for Valentine's projects. Click on preview to see the file in my store.
Check out the great project CDT member Laury did for her daughter's wedding favors using this charming file and modifying Sam and Hailey Designs round top box .
It's time to announce another very talented member of my Creative Design Team. Give a warm welcome to Lisa Lindesmith.
Lisa had the following to say about herself.
"My name is Lisa Lindesmith. I live in Apex, North Carolina with my husband and two daughters, ages 10 and 15. For work, I am a research scientist studying the viruses that cause the stomach flu. For fun, I am a paper lover! A couple of years ago, my husband gave me a Craft Robo for Mother's Day and my digal cutter career began. I had so much fun with my Robo, that I quickly upgraded to the 13 inch KNK. I enjoy combining paper piecing with rubberstamping to create cards, scrapbooks and other 3D home decor and packaging items. My style is relatively linear and simple with clean lines, lots of white space and a 3D embellishment. Shelly's files are a pleasure to design with and I enjoy using them in my projects."
I must say I feel the same about Lisa...I love seeing the fabulous projects she creates with my files. Check out some of her projects below.
This great card uses my Festive Twig Tree file. I love how Lisa changed my file a bit by adding the bow to the bottom.
