Papertrey Ink June 2013 blog hop

Hello,
I feel like it's been ages since I blogged.  I know it has been a very long time since I created anything crafty!  So when I saw Papertrey Ink was having a blog hop....I figured what a great excuse to set aside some time and participate in the fun!

As you can see the challenge is to add a touch of gold to a project. I have to say I don't often reach for gold...I'm more drawn to silver. However, I made it work!

I bought these beads on clearance quite some time ago...not really sure what I was going to use them for.  I  have discovered they are perfect to add sparkle and interest to flower centers. I simply squeeze some glossy accents where I want to place the beads dump them on and let dry.  Amazingly enough they hold on really well.

I used my Card Base 3 file to cut the papers and stamps from PTI to embellish the card.  I very rarely do monochromatic but have to say this look I like! My gold touches besides the beads were a gold pennant, gold Spica marker line on each side and some gold perfect pearls to enhance the sentiment.

If you would like to purchase my file please click on the preview below.

I watched the MIM video and love those little dots.  Sure do hope I get a chance to participate.  I miss playing with PTI stuff!  Thanks for stopping by...hope to see you again soon!
