First up I love what Sue has done with my newest file Cutie Firefly. Sue is one of my best customers! She is always seems to find a use for my files. She just whips one project after another out..I have a hard time keeping up with her! LOL! Here is what Sue had to say about the cute layout of her grandson picture below. "I used my pen tool for the eyes and tongue and then colored them in. Blue plastic folder for the wings and then my own title with a font called "inspiration". I cut the title mat out by hand."

Well that is not all Sue has done. She bought my Hummingbird card and saw it in a totally different light! See how she used it in the beautiful layout below. What a great idea she had to resize the flowers and leaves and use them in multiples on the layout. I love the pen detailing she did around the hummingbird too.

A good friend of mine sent me a lovely package in the mail. It had the greatest little treasures in it. She did one of the most amazing and unique things I have seen done with my files so far. Check out the clipboard she sent me below. Isn't it the sweetest! I just love it and the definition is the perfect touch to complete a cute project. If you'd like her to make you one send her an e-mail at doryfish@dejazzd.com. Be sure to tell her Shelly sent ya! Oh and click on the photo if you want a larger view.

SALE, Butterflies, Bugs and a Freebie!

Hurry into my store for a great sale! Attention SVG and SCAL users....if you see a file in the store you'd like to purchase but it isn't in SVG format simply purchase the file in any format e-mail me the proof of purchase and I will mail you the SVG format ASAP.

I know I haven't been good at blogging but honestly I have been busy! As proof I'd like to show you a new file I have in the store. It is great gift card holder. It comes complete with a girly version and a boyish version. Click on the previews to get it at a great sale price in my store.

Take a look at what my talented CDT member did with the card file. She placed it inside of a base card. I love the cuttlebug embossing and chalking she did! Isn't the card exquisite! The picture really doesn't do it justice. Click on the photo for a larger photo.

She also used my 3-D butterfly file. She cut the butterfly out of acetate and stamped elegant swirls on it. Simply stunning!

Lisa wasn't the only one playing with my butterflies. Another very talented member of my CDT wanted in on the fun too. Elizabeth created a wonderfully whimsical card. It's amazing how versatile these butterflies are...from Lisa's elegant card to Elizabeth's whimsical card.

Oh and I almost forgot another talented CDT member also showed me a new way to play with the butterflies. She glued magnets on their backs and stuck them on the refrigerator. What a great idea! Thanks Ladies for all the inspiring ways to use my butterflies.

If you would like my butterflies to fly into your home, click on the preview below to purchase them at a great sale price!

CDT member Kelly Stone made this great baby boy card using my Clothes Line Baby Boy card file. Here what she had to say about the card she made. "The clothes line is made out of some raffia I had on hand, twisted tight to form a "rope" and then I used the folding clothes pins to hang the clothes. I got out the Cuttlebug for this project to use on the clothes (I used the Argyle embossing folder)." I have a pile of raffia at home and never thought to use it for card making! Brilliant Kelly!

Click below to purchase the card at a great sale price. Note: there is also a girl version.

Buzzz...buzzz some cutie bugs are coming to my store soon. I hope they will get in before mys sale is over...just check back if you like them. Update: The bugs have arrived. Click on the preview below to purchase them!

Butterflies, cupcakes, and stick pins!

Howdy!
Can you believe it's August already! Where has the Summer gone! Hmmm it's time to start school shopping. This is a whole new world for me as my son starts Kindergarten in Sept. I'd better enjoy my baby now before this month passes and I'll have a Kindergartener in my house!

Well with a new month comes new items for sale in my store. Below are just a few of the items I have at my store. You can check out all of them by clicking here. Click on the previews to purchase them in my store.

The above files are available in SVG, AI, WPC, KNK, and GSD formats.

Now I'd like to share with you a few items that some very talented people made with my files. I'm am so delighted when a project using my files comes to my e-mail box. If you ever make anything uses any of mine even the free files...please don't hesitate to send it to me at shellysart@verizon.net. I'll post it here with your permission and it may even get posted in my store.

My 3-D butterflies sure are fluttering their way onto many projects. I just love them and I'm glad you do too!

First up, is a beautiful card combining many of my files by fellow Paperthreads forum member Deb Cole. I love the little details she added like the embossing on the flowers and bracket box. The stickles really make the card POP!

Deb used the following files on the card. Click on the previews to purchase them in my store and make your very own butterfly card!

The first two above files are available in the following formats AI, GSD, WPC, KNK, and SVG. The I love you Card isn't in the store as SVG yet but if you purchase it and send proof of purchase to my e-mail shellysart@verizon.net I will send you the SVG version ASAP!

Next, my CDT member Lisa Lindesmith keeps making these beautiful acetate butterflies using my 3-D butterflies file. Hmm I wonder if I can get her to cut some for me! The jewel body is just stunning! I love the swirls she stamped on the butterfly. Almost makes me want to take up stamping again...almost!

Lisa blew me away again with her version of my cupcake card file. I love how she corrugated the cupcake wrapper and added the bow to the front. The heart paper with stickles added make the perfect cupcake. No need for sprinkles when you have adorable hearts!

Do you have a birthday card you need to send? Why not send an adorable cupcake like this yourself. Click on the preview below to purchase it in my store. Please note this file isn't in SVG in my store yet but if you send me proof of purchase to my e-mail shellysart@verizon.net I will send it to you ASAP.

Last, I have an amazingly artistic card from fellow PT member Lynn Bardwald. I love the paper she choose and the cut out flower. The distressing and inking are the Wow factor of this card! She used my stick pin file for the greeting.

Do you love the look of stick pins but don't like the jagged edges? This file is perfect for you! You'll never have to search for the perfect one again..simple cut as many as you need. Click on the preview below to purchase this file.

This file is also available in a money saving collection. You get all 8 files for $5.92. This price will remain this low the whole month of August. Click on the preview to purchase.

I have a few files in progress that I'm getting ready to put in the store so stay tuned for those later this week. I also am making a digital wedding kit. I'll be in touch! Thanks for stopping by!
